Antique 19th Century Indian Kutch (Cutch), Bhuj, Gujarat region, beautifully hand crafted solid silver large goblet, all over finely chased with scrolling leaves, scroll patterns on a finely tooled and pierced background, the main body depicting wild animals, flying birds, surrounded by floral decoration typical of Kutch work, front bearing a vacant shield. Heavy gauge and extremely high quality of the workmanship, acid tested (900+ standard), the piece dates to 1880's.
