19th Century Indian Kutch, Bhuj, Gujarat region hand crafted and pierced solid silver salver tray, of circular form on three cast feet, the border is finely chased and pierced, the centre is also chased with the typical scrolling leaves and flower pattern with animals on a finely tooled background, typical of Cutch work. The centre is engraved with a coat of arms.
Acid tested and shows to be 800+ silver standard. The piece dates to the 1880-1890's.

The centre is engraved with a coat of arms, as often the case for Indian silver it doesn't bear Indian marks, but has been acid tested and shows to be 800+ silver standard. The piece dates to the 1880-1890's.
