ANTIQUE 20thC RARE GERMAN SOLID SILVER SET OF FIGURAL CASTERS & BOWLS c.1920
20th German Silver complete condiment set, comprising of four sugar casters and a pair of large bowls, each cast figural stem modelled like putto holding a laurel crown, profusely chased with scrolls and cherubs, richly parcel gilt, the two bowls are set with a clear glass liner. Hallmarked German silver ("GERMANY" "STERLING", 925 standard), the set dates to about 1920's. Each part is also stamped with the Retailer's mark "ANSTEAD Cal." for Robert Anstead.
