20th Century pair of German Silver figures, each modelled as a knight in full suits of armour, carved face beneath a hinged visor, both sporting a sword and holding a shield applied and chased with armorials. The knights stand on a large embellished pedestal base resting on four cast lions, a cast knight figure to each corner and armorials in relief, the casting is extremely detailed, each figure featuring slightly different details such as the swords, the shields, the faces, the cast figural finial on top of helmets and shoulder. Hallmaerked German silver (925), Maker's mark "axe".

The knights stand on a large embellished pedestal base resting on four cast lions, a cast knight figure to each corner and armorials in relief, the casting is extremely detailed, each figure featuring slightly different details such as the swords, the shields, the faces, the cast figural finial on top of helmets and shoulder.
This is one of the most impressive and magnificent pair of solid silver figures, each over 43cm tall, combined they weight over 3330 grams.
Each base is Hallmaerked German silver (925 high-standard), Maker's mark "axe" (unknown to me), the pair dates to the 1910-20's.

In Great Condition - no damage.
