20th Century German Silver large figure / vessel in the style of the 16th Century silver examples, modelled as a peddler holding a wicker basket with a hinged lid. The statue is very realistically well-refined, profusely jewelled with many stones (maybe paste or glass cabochons) of different sizes and colours set along the base and on the body, removable head. Hallmarked German silver (930) and with Hanau silver marks, Maker's marks "N".

Antique early-20th Century German Solid Silver large figure / vessel in the style of the 16th Century silver examples, modelled as a peddler holding a wicker basket with a hinged lid. The statue is very realistically well-refined, profusely jewelled with many stones (maybe paste or glass cabochons) of different sizes and colours set along the base and on the body, removable head. The piece is particularly large and features a stunning quality. Hallmarked German silver (930 standard) and with Hanau silver marks, Maker's marks "N" (unknown to me). It dates to year 1900's.

Condition

 In Excellent Condition - no damage, just general wear.
