Description
Antique 19th Century German Solid Silver and cut Glass pair of Wine Claret jugs. Both very decorative, each glass body beautifully cut simulating a hammered surface, with a stunning floral decoration. Each jug is mounted with a silver collar and handle chased with a floral and foliate decoration, domed hinged lid in the same style applied with a leafy thumb-piece. Each mount is Hallmarked German Silver (800 Standard silver purity), Berlin, year 1880's, Maker's mark "V", for D. Vollgold & Sohne, fine silversmith active from 1850.

In Great Condition - no damage, just general wear.
