Both feature a beautiful mithological Rococo Style painting signed by the artist, one representing a lady with a peacock, symbol of Juno and the other a lady with a putto, possibly Venus with Cupid. Such allegories - meaning loyalty and love - are usually related to a marriage occasion. The spreading foot and the collar have a beautiful blue guilloche enamel decoration. Extraordinary pieces, Hallmarked French Silver, Paris, they date to around 1870's. Painter's signature "T. Reyos" on both vases.
