Antique 19th Century rare and exceptionally fine French solid silver and gemstone mounted tazza and cover, richly parcel gilt, profusely decorated in the neo-Renaissance manner, depicting masks, scrolling foliage and animals in relief, the cover is surmounted by a cast figural finial. The piece is profusely set with genuine gemstones such as rubies, diamonds and garnets.
The piece features an outstanding quality, each part is Hallmarked French silver (boar head), no visible maker's mark but the piece is surely by a major designer and manufacturer, it dates to the second half of the 19th century.

In Great Condition - No damage, just general wear.
