Antique 19th Century Burmese, Myanmar Solid Silver repousse' bowl, large size and particularly heavy gauge, repousse' decorated in high relief with scenes from the Burmese mythology, representing various figures and mithalogical winged figures in a landscape, with very detailed seremonial scenes.
The workmenship is particularly crisp and detailed. The bowl is unmarked as is often the case, acid tested shows a high 900+ standard silver purity, judging by the quality and style the bowl dates to the 1880's.
