Antique 19th Century Victorian Solid Silver magnificent presentation salver tray, impressively large size and very heavy (2893g), resting on four large Rococo style scroll feet, applied cast border featuring a foliate decoration, the surface is profusely chased with a scrolling floral and foliate decoration. This is an exceptional size and quality piece, the centre is engraved with a memorial inscription: Presented at the anniversary festival of the Hereford Society (...) to Charles Gwillim Jones Esquir (...) 1844". Hallmarked English silver (925 Standard), London, year 1844 (h), Maker's mark EEJWB (Edward, Edward Jr, John & William Barnard).
