DESCRIPTION
Antique 19th Century very unusual hall chairs fashioned from bull horns. These chairs are usually from the Swiss / German borders (the Black Forest) and are a fashionable home decoration accessory in the latter part of the 19th century. Much of this type of furniture was naively made, its appeal derived the the peculiarity of the antler or bull horns meshed with the functionality of the item of furniture. They would adorn humble lodges as well as stately homes, has been reupholstered with cream shearling.
