Description

Antique late 20th Century rare Imperial Russian Solid Silver and shaded cloisonne' enamel Kovsh, of traditional form, with raised prow and hook handle, beautifully decorated with shaded polychrome cloisonne' enamel with stylised scrolling foliage. The piece is Hallmarked Russian silver 84 (875 standard), Moscow, year 1908-1917, Maker's mark in Cyrillic MZ (Mikhail Zorin, very important silversmith specialized in small enamelled silver objects such kovshes, please follow this link to a similar example sold in Sotheby's and this link to another sold in Christie's).

In Great Condition - no damage, just general wear.
