ANTIQUE 19thC CHINESE SOLID SILVER PICTURE FRAME, QINGXIANG, TIANJIN c.1875

Antique 19th Century Chinese export solid silver picture frame, of rectangular form, with chased decoration and pierced in high relief, depicting various illustrated flowers, bamboo and two dragons. There is a geometric pattern surrounding the glass insert. The frame is very well crafted, made by one of the most outstanding silversmiths at the time.

A vintage mid-20th Century French picture frame designed and crafted by the world renowned fashion house Christian Dior. Its embossed "CD" interwoven border not only adds a decorative flair but also proudly showcases the brand's origin. The frame's rear is adorned with a neutral grey fabric, featuring the same elegant "CD" pattern covering throughout. The small oval-shaped clasp on the rear allows photographs to be placed inside.
