Antique 19th Century Chinese export solid silver picture frame, of rectangular form, with chased decoration and pierced in high relief, depicting various illustrated flowers, bamboo and two dragons. There is a geometric pattern surrounding the glass insert. The frame is very well crafted, made by one of the most outstanding silversmiths at the time.

DESCRIPTION
Antique 19th Century Chinese export solid silver picture frame, of rectangular form, with chased decoration and pierced in high relief, depicting various illustrated flowers, bamboo and two dragons. There is a geometric pattern surrounding the glass insert. The frame is very well crafted, made by one of the most outstanding silversmiths at the time. The rear of the frame is hallmarked with Chinese export marks. (Acid tested shows 900+ standard). Marked Qingxiang, Tianjin. Dating between 1875 - 1910.
CONDITION
