18th Century Exceptional French 18k gold & enamel snuff box, of oval shape, the lid inset with an oval enamel plaque depicting a classical scene set in a lavish garden, surrounded by a pearl frame, the ground enamelled in translucent blue over rays with coloured papillon borders, laurels and floral side urns. Hallmarked Charge mark: Crowned P, for Paris 1784 and french gold guarantee mark (eagle).
