HUGE 20thC BELGIUM FLOOR LAMP BY DANIEL HAESELEER c.1970
This piece has to be the most stunning item available on the market and is most probably a one-off. To our knowledge, no other item of this size or magnitude has turned up for sale. The refined detail combining the natural world with functional and sculptural brass elements make it the most spectacular lamp by Daniel D’Haeseleer that he probably ever created.

DESCRIPTION
Born in 1947, Daniel D’Haeseleer is a Belgian artist born artist started his career as an artist in graphics but later tuned his hand to creating spectacular art pieces, typically made out of brass and copper. He drew much of his inspiration from the natural world, incorporating items collected such as wood, limestone and small fossils and incorporated them into his designs.
One of his most popular items that he created was the small palm tree which would usually be used as wall lights. This piece, however, has to be the most stunning item available on the market and is most probably a one-off. To our knowledge, no other item of this size or magnitude has turned up for sale. The refined detail combining the natural world with functional and sculptural brass elements make it the most spectacular lamp by Daniel D’Haeseleer that he probably ever created. He has used a real wood branch and entangled it with a brass structure supporting five light points, each piece hand made to create an asymmetrical lamp which is the most striking piece of interior design. Sure to embellish any modern home with that mid 20th century retro taste which is extremely en-vogue at the moment, this lamp transcends fashion and is certain to gain value over time as the artist increases in popularity.
