ANTIQUE 20thC ART DECO DIAMOND SET PLATINUM BROOCH, ATTR. BUCCELLATI c.1930

Description

Antique 20th Century exceptional and rare diamond set platinum brooch, the shaped rectangular plaque finely pierced with a lacework design, set with several round diamonds.

The central diamond is 1.50 CT, the two laterals are 1.20 CT each, the central panel is also set with 12 diamonds each of 0.10 CT each and another 8 smaller diamonds, the wavy frame is set with further 30 small diamonds.

The central diamond I/J color and VVS clarity; the lateral diamonds K/L color and VVS clarity.

The brooch is unmarked, but it has been tested as platinum, it dates to year 1930.

Although unsigned the peculiar design and the outstanding quality suggest that it might be by a Buccellati jeweller.

CONDITION

In Excellent Condition - No damage, just general wear.
