20th Century Japanese Meiji period silver bowl, double walled, densely chased and embossed with blossoming irises on matted hand hammered ground, shaped floral rim and standing on a round collar base. The base is Hallmarked Japanese silver, 'Jun-gin' mark, meaning 'pure silver' (950+ high grade silver), also Sterling, (used on items made for export), these marks are used primary in during the Meiji period (1868-1912) and maker unknown to me.
