19th Century Japanese Meiji period silver figure of a rooster, on a carved wooden stand. Naturalistically cast and carved as a long-tail rooster facing forwards, the details of head finished in copper, applied yellow and rose gold feathers. Apparently unmarked, but tested to be 950+ high grade silver, attributed to Koreyoshi.
