DESCRIPTION
Antique 19th Century Japanese monumental solid silver dragon bowl, of exceptional and magnificent quality, double walled, chased, embossed and applied with a water dragon in very high relief with applied flowing whiskers on a hand hammered ground. The base is hallmarked with the 'jungin mark' meaning pure silver (1000 high grade silver), used primary in the Meiji period (1868-1912).
