Antique 19th Century Japanese Meiji period solid silver water dragon bowl, exceptional and magnificent quality, double walled, chased, embossed and applied with a water dragon in very high relief with applied flowing whiskers. The base is signed in old Japanese, marked 1000 (1000 pure silver), used primary in the Meiji period (1868-1912).
