DESCRIPTION
Antique late-19th Century Japanese, Meiji period solid silver & enamel dragon bowl, exceptional and magnificent quality, double walled, chased, embossed and applied with a water dragon in very high relief, with flowing whiskers. The shaped foot decorated with delicate shaded enamel within fine filigree reserves. Signed Tokosai Setsuga, tested (950+ high grade silver), used primary in the Meiji period (1868-1912).
