20th Century Persian Islamic Silver 5 pieces Coffee & Tea set on a Tray, comprising of coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl, cream jug and tray. Each piece features a typical detailed decoration, profusely engraved and chased with stylized leaves and birds, each piece also featuring figural scenes, the tea and coffee pot spout's with eagle's head. The oval tray with cast border and twin handles, featuring a great quality of the engraving featuring a scene with dancing figures, the whole set features a stunning quality of the workmanship.
Hallmarked Persian silver (84 for 875 standard, and Maker's mark, unknown), probably city of Isfahan, it probably dates to around 1910-20's. Acid tested the set shows a 800+ silver purity.
