Antique early-20th Century Indian Colonial solid silver twin handled bowl, standing on a shaped domed foot, cast chased handles, the body is repousse' decorated in relief with figures in a landscape, depicting religious procession scenes in reserves, highlighted with scroll boarders and large acanthus leaves set against a matted ground, gilt interior. The bowl is apparently unmarked, but has been acid tested (900+ solver standard), made in Calcutta, circa 1910. Engraved to the foot ' By directors of transformer and switchgear ltd'
