Antique 19th Century Indian Kutch (Cutch), Bhuj, Gujarat region, beautifully hand crafted solid silver lidded goblet, all over finely chased with scrolling leaves, scroll patterns on a finely tooled on matted ground, the main body depicting wild animals, surrounded by floral decoration typical of Kutch work, front bearing a shield cartooche with a family crest. Heavy gauge and extremely high quality of the workmanship, acid tested (900+ standard), the piece dates to 1880's.
