Antique early 20th Century German solid silver & enamel cigarette case. The front is adorned with four vices painted in enamel: a horse's head (sports), a champagne bottle (drinking), a ballet dancer (women), and a playing card featuring a heart (gambling). Inside, there is an inscription reading "Hofrat Bettyer 1918," which is believed to refer to a renowned Austrian racehorse. Hallmarked Austrian solid silver (900 standard).
