A bone and plated metal pedestal table by Anthony Redmile, mid/late 20th century, the top of square section with rectangular bone veneer plaques to the edges, on a square tapering pedestal applied with hardstone cabochons (most probably lapis lazuli, all on an ebonised base. Anthony Redmile burst into the London interior design scene in the 1960s, producing some of the most eclectic items for his illustrious clients. Known to use items which were taken or inspired by the natural world, this item exemplifies Redmile's work.
