ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Guido Faleschini is a prominent Italian designer with an illustrious CV. He has restructured numerous Italian villas throughout his career, and designed the interior furnishings too. His achievements and prizes throughout his career have allowed him to tke on important projects like the restructuring of Villa Biraghi in the historical city of Monza in 1971. In the 1970s he starts a collaboration with Hermes, Paris and designs a range of home furnishings.
This was one of his more popular designs but this table in particular is in incredible condition for its age. Bought from a private villa in the south of France it has hardly been used on the last 50 years. The heavily smoked glass table top is almost black, contrasting beautifully with the chromed legs and the beige alcantara leather or suede trim. It is incredible that it is still in such fabulous condition after so long, so elegant, so modern, and above all so stylish; as you would expect from anything Hermes. These dining room table and chairs were purchased together with a large 3 section side board, making an incredible dining room suite. We have divided them into two lots but we would strongly recommend keeping them all together.
