DESCRIPTION
An extremely stylish bamboo room divider (or screen) manufactured by Vivai Del Sud in Italy in the 1970s. This mid century mirrored bifold screen is a statement piece which is part of Maurizio Mariani and Giusto Puri Purini's 'Palm Beach Regency' collection for the house of Vivai Del Sud. The Vivai del Sud production presented a whole series of furnishings and accessories inspired by palm groves. They used various materials but their most famous and sought after items utilised bamboo for such pieces as this.
In the true spirit of Vivai Del Sud, the use of 3D techniques has created an external atmosphere of a tropical oasis, emphasised by the palm trees. A fantastic addition to any mid-century interior as well as bringing a sense of Hollywood Regency to any setting.
