DESCRIPTION

Established in Paris in 1847, Cartier is regarded as one of the most prestigious jewellers in the world. Cartier has a long history of sales to royalty. King Edward VII of Great Britain referred to Cartier as "the jeweller of kings and the king of jewellers." For his coronation in 1902, Edward VII ordered 27 tiaras and issued a royal warrant to Cartier in 1904. Similar warrants soon followed from the courts of Spain, Portugal, Serbia, Russia and the House of Orleans.

The prestige of Cartier has spanned through the decades, its timeless designs have always encapsulated the mood and set the trends of each era. The solid silver rims of these vases bear the Minerva hallmark, denoting their French origins and the high grade of silver utilised in their manufacturing process and to the underside, the infamous “C“ for Cartier etched into the glass. These wonderful vases are as fashionable today as they were when they were produced. Their timeless simple design would adorn any modern or traditional setting and can be used for flowers but could also double up as wine coolers.
