ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The spout, a masterpiece in its own right, is fashioned in the likeness of Poseidon, god of the sea, his stern countenance commanding attention. As if summoned from the depths, the handle ascends like the graceful form of a winged mermaid, its sinuous curves entwining with the ewer's form in perfect harmony.

A narrative of myth and maritime adventure unfolds upon the vessel's surface, where Poseidon and his consort, Amphitrite, are depicted in regal splendor on either side, enthroned within a shell of oceanic opulence. The round pedestal base, a testament to the artisan's skill, is adorned with a trio of dolphins, their tails suspended in mid-air, seemingly caught in a perpetual dance of joy.

In every curve and contour, the ewer tells a tale of ancient lore and timeless beauty, inviting the observer to embark on a journey into the realm of myth and legend. Hallmarked French Silver (Minerva, 950 standard), Paris, MAKER "BOULANGER et Cie, Goldsmiths of Paris.".
