DESCRIPTION
Stunning 20th Century Italian solid silver vase, exceptionally large and heavy, of circular form resting on a circular foot, twin cast scroll handles, the body is part fluted and part chased with scrolling leaves.
The vase is extremely large (46 cm tall, 57cm wide) and heavy (5250 grams), it can be used as a decorative vase for flowers or as an impressive wine cistern.
The base is Hallmarked Italian Silver (800 Standard), Maker's mark "176FI" for Pampaloni, active in Florence from 1940's, very important manufacturer still active. This particular piece dates to 1950's.
CONDITION
In Great condition - No damage, just general wear.
