20th Century Continental silver-plated cigarette case, of typical rectangular form, the cover beautifully enamelled with an extremely rare and naughty hand-painted scene depicting a boy squatting beside a fence, lighting a cigarette whist apparently oblivious to the charm display from his girlfriend who is lifting her dress to shield the flame from his match.
The subject is the most rare and unusual, a real gem for cigarette case collectors.
Both parts are Hallmarked "ALPACCA", probably German, Maker's mark HM in an oval, it dates to the 1910's.
