The chasing is very fine, the eclectic Renaissance-inspired style very unusual and decorative, very close to the plaques by Leonard Morel-Ladeuil, a great French sculptor, ciseler and goldsmith also producing models for Elkington & Co. The silver is not signed, only marked "800" for Continental silver (800 standard, acid tested), it dates to 1880-1900.
