A MID 20thC ENGLISH OAK & BRASS BOUND JARDINIERE c.1940
A delightful oak jardiniere or wine cooler made in England around the middle of the 20th century. As is so typical of these items, the jardiniere is constructed with oak slats bound together by a coppered brass band. Slightly splayed legs gives it the stability it needs and is flanked by two cast lion head brass pull handles. A wonderful piece of period furniture, perfect to adorn any traditional interior.
