DESCRIPTION

Antique 20th Century Belgian very rare walnut two-blade Gnome Helice Normale propeller, circa 1912-1913, with original decals, stamped 80HP, KCF 34, 3724 in beautiful original condition, great patination, 2.45 metres long, would probably have been mounted on a Belgian Jero Farman 16. These Farmans were built by the firm Bollekens in the area of Antwerp and mounted on a 80hp Gnome rotary engine. The propeller has a typical shape that is comparable to something between a Ratmanoff and Chauviere design.
