20th Century Chinese export silver impressively large, tea service on tray, comprising of a coffee pot, teapot, covered sugar bowl, milk jug and tray, each body is embossed with a dragon design on matted ground, applied wavy whiskers, hollow handles and spout modeled as bamboo branches. Presented on a solid silver mounted large rosewood serving tray, of rectangular form, the corner are applied with silver corners beautifully hammered, the surface is inlaid with silver depicting a bamboo branch with leaves and a bird, twin cast handles simulating bamboo.

Hallmarked with Chinese silver marks, tea set hallmarked with the silversmith mark ZEESUNG and ZEESHUN (Hallmark used by the same silversmith), active in Shanghai 1900-1940.

The set is particularly large and fine, complete Chinese silver services such this are extremely rare and sought after. Each piece is Hallmarked with Chinese silver marks (acid tested they show a 900+ standard purity), tea set hallmarked with the silversmith mark ZEESUNG and ZEESHUN (Hallmark used by the same silversmith), active in Shanghai 1900-1940, large pieces by this silversmith are particularly as this silversmith mostly specialized in small items.
