Antique 20th Century English solid silver desk bell crafted in the form of a tortoise. The tortoises' shell is part cast and hand-chased in fine detail. The bell mechanism beneath. Once wound up, the bell can be rung by pressing either the head or tail, and it remains in full working condition.
