Inside the jar is richly gilt and standing on a very elaborate base.

Inside the jar is richly gilt and standing on a very elaborate base. All parts are Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, year 1900 (e), Maker's mark G&SCoLD (Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ltd, 112 Regent st, London)
