Antique 20th Century Solid Silver Celtic style impressively large pedestal Quaich Bowl, with typical lug handles, the bowl is engraved band with a typical intersected Celtic pattern, the border and the foot are set with four large round cut stones, probably cairngorms or smoky citrines. The bowl has been used as a trophy and bears memorial inscriptions "James Steuart Challenge Bowl, London Banks Junior Team Race League", the other side is engraved with the winners' names from 1935 until 1975. Hallmarked English Silver (925 standard), London, year 1934 (r), Maker's mark W&H (Walker & Hall).
Condition
In Great Condition - No damage, just general wear.
