ANTIQUE 20thC EDWARDIAN SOLID SILVER TROPHY VASE, HUNT & ROSKELL c.1908
20th Century Edwardian silver decorative trophy vase, exceptionally heavy, standing on a round silver base, one side is chased and applied with a Classical frieze depicting a chariot pulled by horses, probably a scene from the Greek mythology representing Medea (subject of a famous tragedy and play by Euripides). The other side depicting a procession with figures and a chariot pulled by oxen. The upright handles applied with serpents.
