Antique early-20th Century Edwardian Solid Silver cup and cover trophy, richly gilded, particularly large, heavy and decorative, the cup is made in the style of the late 17th century Queen Anne cups.
The body bearing the Royal coat of arms and the important memorial inscription "The Royal Hunt Cup Ascot 1969".
Both parts are fully Hallmarked English Britannia silver (958 silver purity, the highest standard for English silver, used during the Queen Anne period), London, year 1904 (i), Maker's mark J.W F.C.W. (James Wakely & Frank Clarke Wheeler).
CONDITION
In Great Condition - no damage, just general wear.
