Antique late-19th Century exceptional and stunning Victorian William Comyns Solid Silver carriage Clock, impressively large and very decorative, rectangular body supported by four cast scrolling feet, the body profusely chased with scrolling foliate decoration and Watteau-esque scenes depicting loving couples, black Roman numerals. The hinged back also embossed with a loving scene. The clock is in fully working condition.
Both parts are Hallmarked English silver (925 Standard), London, 1899 (d), Maker's mark W.C (William Comyns, one of the greatest and most sought-after silversmiths of the 19th Century).
CONDITION
In Great condition - No damage, just general wear.
