Antique 19th Century Victorian solid silver skyphos cup, of traditional form on a round base, of heavy gauge and the body chased with holly leaves and berries on matted ground, flat handles with rings beneath, on a tapering foot and richly gilt interior. The top rim engraved with a commemorative inscription 'Presented to rear Admiral the Hon...ble W.C Carpenter.R.N on the occasion of his marriage by the tenants of the Kiplin Estate 10th Feb..y 1887.
