19th Century Victorian silver hunting flagon, of waisted cylindrical form, tankard with hinged lid, raised on a spreading base, the body profusely embossed with a violent hunting scenes, depicting hounds and deer amongst flowers and foliage, reverse with a large vacant cartooche surrounded by a shell and scroll boarder, mounted with a very elaborate C-shaped scroll handle and a shaped spout. The flat, hinged lid mounted with naturalistically cast hound and stag finial.
