Antique 19th Century Victorian solid silver and frosted glass ice bucket a swinging handle in a shape of a whisky barrel. A wonderful example of Victorian creativity and ingenuity with this rather fabulous cut-glass ice or biscuit barrel with solid silver mounts and handle. The glass body is finely and realistically engraved with staves and hoops mimicking a whisky barell - fitting when one considers this piece loaded with ice and a readied near your finest bottle of Scotch! Similar examples do exist with more standard glass bodies and silver-plated mounts but every element of this box, other thant the glass is the finest solid silver.
