Extraordinary and magnificent, made in the highly decorative style of Edward Farrell, each piece featuring an embossed decoration depicting flowers and leaves on a matted ground, cast figural feet, leaf-capped handles with peacocks, the cover is mounted with a figural finial modelled as a Chinese man.

Antique 19th Century rare Victorian Solid Silver impressively large and extremely heavy 5 piece tea and coffee set, comprising of coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl, massive slop bowl and cream jug. Extraordinary and magnificent, made in the highly decorative style of Edward Farrell, each piece featuring an embossed decoration depicting flowers and leaves on a matted ground, cast figural feet, leaf-capped handles with peacocks, the cover is mounted with a figural finial modelled as a Chinese man.

Each part is Hallmarked English Silver (925 standard), London, year 1841 (f), Maker's mark WH (William Hunter, important silversmith).

This exceptional service has been appraised in 2005 for the TV show Antiques Road Show, being estimated $8000-12000 (please follow this link).
