DESCRIPTION

Antique 19th Century Victorian Solid Silver matched three-piece table garniture centerpiece, composing of massive three-light candelabra supporting a central glass comport and two matching comports to each side. The central candelabra and two comports are surmounted by a beautifully matching cut-glass bowls. 

Each impressive base standing on spreading rococo scroll and shell feet, the stem realistically modelled as grapevines with applied leaves and grapes. The bases are engraved with family crests, coat of arms and presentation description. This is an exceptional and extremely impressive table garniture, very naturalistically modelled and detailed.

Candelabra hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, year 1864 (i), Maker's mark A.M (Alexander Macrae). The comports are hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, year 1860 (e), S.S & W.N (Stephen Smith & William Nicholson).
