19th Century Victorian Silver four piece tea and coffee set, consisting of coffee pot, tea pot, sugar bowl and cream jug, each lobed body resting on four shell feet, the body chased and embossed with game birds in a wheat field, extremely rare and well made design, leaf-capped scroll handles, the hinged covers with lovely cast finial realistically modelled as a pheasant.
Bases engraved with a memorial inscription "From Ellis & Kate Yates to Henry & Matilda Cohen, April 17th 1844". Hallmarked English silver (925), London, year 1843 (h), Maker's mark WH for William Hunter.
