DESCRIPTION
Antique early 20th Century Victorian coromandel wood smoker's compendium box with solid silver mounts, two top drawers for cigarettes and cigars and two small compartments for matches, as the top lid is lifted the bottom draw automatically pulls out to reveal another two compartments, the lid fitted with two ashtrays.
Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, year 1900 (e), Maker M Chapman, Son & Co Ltd (Middleton Chapman). A superb gift and a must have item during the festive holidays, that will make a real conversation piece and a superb piece of history reminiscent of the bygone era.
